Xchange Business Park is a two-phase industrial land development that will be a catalyst for economic development in Abbotsford, with the potential to secure Abbotsford as a major logistics hub. The project will develop Class A industrial product for the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland market with a total of 11 buildings across 78.5 acres.

We are excited to bring this important industrial land development to Abbotsford,” says Michael Hungerford, a partner at Hungerford Properties. “It will help solidify Abbotsford as a logistics hub and be a catalyst for local economic development, bringing 1,000 direct jobs, including 60 new apprenticeship trades, and 1,900 indirect jobs.”

Thank you to Mayor Braun, members from the Council, City of Abbotsford staff, and our project consultants who supported and joined us at this milestone event.

Xchange is on the shared traditional and ancestral territory of the Sto:lo people. We specifically want to recognize the Matsqui and Sumas First Nations. The Sto:lo people are “the people of the river”. We value our relationship with these nations and will work to ensure our activities respect their long-standing care and stewardship of these lands.

Phase 1 of the project has commenced, and we currently anticipate a three-year construction period.
